Looking forward towards 2018

Thank you for the slow mail and email Christmas and New Years greetings.
I was in Sweden with my oldest daughter Judith and her husband Oystein and their children. They have a large log house there, an old parsonage. Different friends came to stay there as well. There was also a star-cook who loved to cook so Judith said: Sure, go ahead. The meals were exquisite! Old/new year celebration was with my daughter here in Naarden. This was also perfect!

As I was thinking about 2018 I read on the last day of 2017 the following quote that really encouraged me:
“If you love someone, set them free,”
says the famous quotation attributed to American writer Richard Bach. (in een blog van Bishop Barron, 31-12-2017).
We accumulate many experiences in our lives, right. I would love to repeat them over and over again. Now is it the time to be more precise. What does the Lord still want me to do? With Maria I say: Lord, your will be done…
I ask prayer for wisdom to perceive what the Lord wants. Then to decide where I will go to as people ask me to come and teach.
I have still a few years left. I am concerned that I don´t have enough time anymore to shout roots in Naarden. I feel more like a “pot-plant”. It will blossom where ever you put it, provided it gets enough water and light… Perhaps that is my ministry?
I love to hear from you!
Blessings!
